#QuotesFromWomenScientists: our social network activity for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science

From the ICMAB Gender Equality Committee we wanted to engage the ICMAB community in a social network activity for the "International Day of Women and Girls in Science" (11 February 2020) #QuotesFromWomenScientists! We had a great participation, and here is the result!

We asked the people from the ICMAB community and from the surroundings (collaborators, colleagues, ICMAB Alumni...) to choose a quote they liked from a women scientist of any time of history or contemporary. We also asked them to send us a picture of themselves and their position and Institution, and a short description of the women scientist they had chosen.

Our goal was to approach female scientists to everyone and to inspire people with their quotes. We hope we have achieved it! Thank you to all the participants!

The banners we created are on Twitter and Facebook from the 5th of February, and are still on! We have nearly 30 quotes from different scientists!
