In page 18 we find information about the centers in Catalunya (human resources, projects, technology transfer, scientific production, conferences, outreach, training activities). The ICMAB appears as one of the three CSIC centers in Catalunya with the Severo Ochoa Certificate of Excellence, together with the ICN2 and CRAG. 

In the highlights of the area of Materials Science and Technology, the article about photonic cellulose architectures, published in Nature Photonics 12, 343 (2018) "Hydroxypropyl cellulose photonic architectures by soft nanoimprinting lithography" is described (pages 75-76) as one of the main highlights of the year.
